​The Fall Equinox marks the moment when light and darkness come into balance before we begin our descent into the darker half of the year. But balance isn't necessarily about keeping everything equal.

 

Sometimes balance is the moment of stillness that allows us to recognize what needs to shift before we enter the next cycle.​

 

Nature understands this innately, yet we've created lives that expect us to maintain the same level of productivity, expansion and output regardless of the season we're moving through. ​And then February comes...and we crash out.

 

Because we haven't properly prepared our mind, body and soul for the shift of death in order to allow rebirth. We sit in a state of holding on to everything because our harvest was bountiful and we can't handle the idea of letting any part of what we built fall away.

 

​To truly harness the energy of the Fall Equinox, we're going to work intentionally with the natural cycle of balance → descent → death → incubation → rebirth so that instead of fighting the darker months, we can understand what they're actually asking of us.​ THIS IS ALCHEMY.

​This time is about learning how to honor contraction without abandoning or losing yourself inside of it. The cycle only has to be as deep as you need it to be (we're working with the no dig method over here...)​
